As Warzone players know, the “highlight” of this update is yet another fix for the battle royale’s infinite stim glitch. Yes, there have been multiple times in Warzone‘s short lifetime that a player’s ability to revive themselves after being downed has resulted in those players being able to prolong a game indefinitely and generally ruin the fun. While there is some hope that the team has finally figured this problem out, the fact that the issue just keeps popping up has left some players feeling understandably pessimistic. While it’s not included in this patch, it’s very much worth noting that Activision recently banned another 60,000 Warzone players. That move came shortly after fans and streamers pointed out that the free-to-play battle royale title was overrun with cheaters who had infiltrated the highest ranks of play. Much like the infinite stim glitch, cheaters in Warzone are one of those problems that just never seem to go away. Some fans hope that Activision will address the issue by utilizing a built-in anti-cheat system, but the publisher hasn’t confirmed any plans to make such a major modification to the game.
